Call Volumes in B.C. Communities

BC Emergency Health Services tracks every medical emergency event created using our dispatch system (MPDS). We refer to them as “call volumes.”

However, each response may represent several 9-1-1 calls for an event. The call volumes reflect pre-hospital demand for medical emergency services.
